Share Your Passion and Shape the Next Generation of Stylists

You already know how to transform a client’s look. Now you can use that experience to help future stylists build their skills and confidence. Hair Professionals Career College’s Cosmetology Instructor Program is designed for licensed cosmetologists who are ready to take the next step and teach.

Our 1,000-hour program combines teaching theory with hands-on student teaching, so you’ll learn how to lead a classroom while gaining experience in one. You’ll study how students learn, develop effective lessons, and then put those skills to work with real cosmetology students.

Teaching also gives you a new way to grow your career in the beauty industry. Instead of working with one client at a time, you’ll have the opportunity to help future professionals develop the techniques, habits, and confidence they need to succeed. With six scheduling options available, you can continue working behind the chair while completing your instructor training. Contact us to begin the enrollment process.

Great Experience

I truly appreciate the instructor/ teacher. She just knows what she's talking about, very easy going and gives the students clear instructions! I got my haircut twice in January and again this Tuesday March31 ! Im obsessed. Although i receive a basic trim, the young lady blended my bangs and gave me face framing layers! I'll post pics later due to my hair being wrapped up, but i did have a picture from church Wednesday!

Amazing Cosmetology School Experience

Experience What It’s Like to Teach Future Cosmetologists

Teaching requires a different set of skills than working behind the chair. That’s why you’ll spend time learning how people learn, creating effective lesson plans, and structuring a classroom where students can learn and grow. Then you’ll put those skills into practice by teaching actual classes in our cosmetology program.

Your student teaching experience gives you the chance to put everything together. You’ll practice demonstrating techniques clearly, recognize when a student needs extra help, and learn how to give feedback that helps students improve.

As a family-owned school, we can give you personalized guidance from experienced instructors throughout your training. You’ll have the opportunity to learn from educators who understand both the beauty industry and the classroom.

You’ll also work with professional products from school partner brands, including Paul Mitchell, Dermalogica, and MUD, helping you stay familiar with the products and techniques your future students may want to learn.

Once you earn your instructor license, you can explore a variety of career paths. You could teach at a cosmetology school, lead a student salon floor, train a salon team, or work as a brand educator.
